$250 ($270 effective from 1 March 2026).
The standard fee for a 50-minute couple session is
$280 ($300 effective from 1 March 2026).

A $20 out-of-hours surcharge applies for appointments starting before 8:30am and at/after 17:30pm (effective from 1 March 2026).
Important Note: For couples therapy, private health funding can be used.
Unfortunately, Medicare does not allow clients to use a Mental Health Care Plan to subsidise couples therapy.

Medicare Rebates / Mental Health Care Plan:
Every person is entitled to up to 10 subsidised psychology sessions per calendar year.
A GP or psychiatrist can provide a Mental Health Care Plan to receive Medicare rebates. The current rebate when seeing a Clinical Psychologist is $145.25 per session, leaving an out-of-pocket cost of $104.75 per session (within standard hours) ($124.75 from 1 March 2026).
Private Health Funds:
Private Health Fund members may be eligible to claim rebates for psychology sessions, depending on individual cover.

BUPA Open Arms:
I'm a registered provider with BUPA Open Arms to support ADF and Defence Eligible Personnel.
DVA Funding:
Veterans in Australia have access to fully funded clinical psychology services through the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA). To access this scheme, veterans can obtain a referral from their GP.

Third-Party / Insurance Funding:
Unfold Psychology & Counselling welcomes clients whose sessions are funded by ReturnToWorkSA and other insurers such as CPT (Compulsory Third Party).

Cancellation Policy / Fees
Late cancellations (less than 24h) or non-attendance incur a fee. Details are outlined in the Client Agreement & Informed Consent Form that each client sights and signs before commencing therapy. If you would like to view this form before committing to therapy, we are happy to provide you with a copy.

Please note that Unfold Psychology & Counselling generally does not offer bulkbilling.
